Taken within my car.
(Please note that I was not driving when taking this picture....well...I'm still here, aren't I?!?)
Photo by my older daughter M. The slant is because of the slow rolling shutter on my cell phone camera.
This cake was for a client who enjoys speed skating. The figure at
top is the association's logo, and the only direction was to make it
look "cold." I think I hit the mark with a profusion of icicles and
snowflakes, and a dusting of edible white/pink glitter.

BRIEF FOR THIS THEME:
1. Mexico City, in the beginning of the XIX century.
2. A Mad Scientist/Mexican Wrestling Promoter creates a steam-powered robotic "luchador" (wrestler) to increase the audience of his small fighting arena. Soon it becomes a great success.
3. The technology should be "cyberpunk" inspired: pistons, cranks, steam, rivets, etc (think mechanic, not electronic).
4. The Automaton should wear traditional Mexican Wrestling Costume and Mask. Make it colourful and interesting, Mexican Wrestling is a spectacle as much as it is a fight.

Single speed chain tensioner, AKA singleator / singulator. Converts your bike from a geared bike with derailleur into a single speed bike. Just remove the derailleur and replace it with this little tensioner. www.crowcycleco.com
Taken with my Purma Speed camera - www.flickr.com/photos/gray1720/4163488404/ I think I may be the only person who has shot one lately - I can find no other photos on Flickr of one, and none taken with one. It as to be said that it's an experience! These have benefited from heavy sharpening, as the lens is VERY low contrast. The winding mechanism is also very erratic, and tightened so much toward the end of the roll that I couldn't finish it.
Probably the worse feature, though, is that the shutter release is IN the viewfinder so your finger is in the way when you shoot!
Shot on Efke 100, RIP.
