This is an old 3 speed bike from the trash I completely overhauled. I added an old bottle dynamo powered light system and a big basket. Old 3 speeds are wonderful, functional bikes. They're human power vehicles instead of status conscious sports equipment. They still have fenders and chain guards so no short rubbery biker pants are required.

I always go for the classics shots despite the clicheness of it. Someone can't call you a theif when you took it yourself. :) Negative was a bit dusty, but this is the 4th shot I've ever taken with a 4x5. Stupid parallax problem. :)

Speed's Diner in Battle Creek, Michigan. Right when I was about to take this picture one of the employees came out and said, "One of our customers is prone to seizures and she is afraid that she will have one if you use the flash." I almost laughed because it was so random. I had already taken a photo of this with my polaroid and it flashed so I had to appologize and then explain that my 35mm has absolutely no flash. anyway..fun story for ya
