The Spectacle Bridge, ½ km to the south-west of Lisdoonvarna, spans a deep narrow gorge through which the Aille River flows. As it had to support the road at the top, a double arch forming a circular opening was built above the lower arch, giving the bridge its unusual and unique "spectacle" appearance.

Well, for the second year in a row I spent July 4th on St. Pete's beach. The weather was gross this year though, and we ended up seeking refuge beneath a parking garage, while it poured and poured over our celebration. The fireworks were put off nonetheless, and they had the part of the beach closest to us sanctioned off. Needless to say they were quite close to us, and my youngest brother was quite excited by the show.
