Khichan is a village in the Jodhpur district of the Indian state of Rajasthan that in recent years has established a tradition of feeding wild birds, including Demoiselle Cranes that winter here every year. Up to 5,000 kilograms (11,000 lb) of bird seed are consumed every day by the feeding birds.[1] Khichan village now hosts over 9,000 Demoiselle Cranes from as early as August each year to as late as March of the following year. The village, which has become popular among bird watchers, achieved international recognition when it was featured in Birding World magazine in an article titled, “Khichan - the Demoiselle Crane village." - Wiki Info.

Since Aiden blew up one of the reactors a while back, figured it was time to clear Spectacle Island and start over. Moved the 'settlers' to other settlements and now only have one resident left, a Brahmin.
I've shot this grinder a few times before but have a hard time passing it up. There's something about how it generates its own smoky/dusty atmosphere, especially at night, that's compelling. February 5, 2018.

Every leave on this tree had turned red, a couple were on the ground but most were lit up perfectly by the morning sun.

Typical set up I use for doing refraction shots on a wet spectacle lens. I just slide the camera forward on the lens to focus and take a sequence of shots for stacking. The flower is in front of a curved background wedged between the table mat and a wine cooler
