Beautiful morning in the Adirondack Park, near Schroon Lake. No people, just me, the bugs and my camera - a Graflec Crown Graphics from the 1950's. Taken with Arista EDU 100 film, front tilt, no filters. Edited in LR.
Plain & pure Flea Market Fun from Barcelona.... Emilie demonstrates how the glasses you choose define your personality.
About technical stuff - I used the handy PS tool "Match color"... when you have pictures taken at different spots and the colors don't match you choose one source image and match the others, it's quick and painless! Image>Adjustments>Match color. (Also be aware that the exif data belongs to the background image that was taken with a different lens - the actual photos are taken with the portrait darling 50/1,4).

Adirondacks, NY.
The forecast for the Noth country was partly sunny, so I took off hoping for good things after a night of rain. But the system stalled, and partly sunny remained mostly cloudy. So, stream photography. The trail to Spectacle Pond is a great woods walk, never far from the brook. I paused here and let the brook come at me awhile, stretching out in a bit of a run down the slope. We lose ourselves in places like these, mezmerised by the water, shaken out of it by a shiver from the damp of a November day. Moving is relief.

A view of Ex.GWR 0-6-0PT No.6435 receiving attention at Buckfastleigh on the then Dart Valley Railway in August 1970.
This engine was built at Swindon in 1937, withdrawn in 1964 and purchased by the Dart Valley Railway in 1965. It was in regular use until it was transferred to the company Paignton to Kingswear line. After a while on the Bodmin & Wenford Railway it is now on the West Somerset Railway awaiting overhaul..
