Not far enough from the Open City, Megatron and Soundwave review the current state of the war in their command base.
"This is the latest footage from the battle of New Solis," Soundwave said.
"Ah, Trypticon in all his glory," Megatron observed
"The Autobots mounted a retreat as soon as Trypticon arrived," Soundwave said.
"A wise move on their part... still I had expected more of our ultimate weapon."
"Megatron?" Soundwave asked.
"He has vast potential, has such an imposing presence, but he is too docile. I need him to be hungry for combat... let him destroy the enemy before they have a chance to escape from him," Megatron said.
"I'm not sure how to accomplish that level of conditioning," Soundwave said.
"Yes, well, I'm certain a solution will present itself," Megatron said.
[I wasn't sure for a while if I was going to end this story when the Full Tilt plotline was resolved... but I'm leaning towards continuing it, and expanding it to include non-transformers as well.]
[I had been prepared to add an original character to this story... still not sure what figure would have represented him... he would have been a brilliant mastermind. It caught me completely by surprise when Bugbite revealed the main scheme had been his in the last two shots... I did not see that coming. I guess Retcon will be added in some other time, maybe.]
My four tape decks... ok, so one is actually an MP3 player!

How he survived my youthful rampage i will never know.
but he was in a very sorry state when i rescued him from my old toybox in the loft. Missing his tape door and weapons, the silver paint almost entirely gone and joints so floppy he couldn't stand upright.
So i decided to use him as a test subject for a bunch of restoration techniques that i picked up online
(since i really couldn't make him any worse)
And they all worked wonders!
He now stands and holds his pose as well as many new toys, the repainted silver looks great and i'm really happy with how his battery/shoulder cannon turned out (made from *gasp* a battery!).
His new tape door needs a lot more work though, as the plasticard warped slightly as i was cutting it and the paint needs sanding down a little for a smoother finish.
So consider this shot a W.I.P.
A glass of Soundwave IPA from Siren Craft Brew in Finchampstead, Berkshire, England, on draft at Craft Beer Co. in Clerkenwell, London.
Siren Soundwave IPA is a 5.6% abv india pale ale. It poured a hazy orange color with a thin, white head. It had a piny hop aroma. Mouthfeel was medium heavy with a flat, oily texture, hardly any carbonation. The flavor started out with a powerful "green" flavor, fresh grass or nettle. I also got some mango. It finished very bitter with a long resiny aftertaste.
This IPA was a bit too bitter and flat for my taste, reminding me slightly of a weird, bitter fruit juice.

Siren Craft Brew is another young craft brewery from England, it was founded in 2012 and is located in the parish of Finchampstead, in Berkshire county, about 50 km west of London.
This custom Soundwave commission started as a Reveal the Shield Perceptor. The mold just screams Soundwave, so I painted him up in classics/Generation 1 Soundwave colors. I added weapons and head from the War For Cybertron Soundwave, swapped in a new front fender slightly modified the shoulders/backpack to give him a little more bulk up top, and went to town with details.
My Soundwave block for the skillbuilder BOM. Guess my 1/4 seams are far from perfect - wider borders will balance it out!
Transformers Soundwave que forman parte de mi colección.
Excepto el Music Label y el Heroes of Cybertron que son de mi hermana, pero igual yo se los regalé.

Transformers Soundwave in my collection.
Except for the Music Label and Heroes of Cybertron that are owned by my sister. But I gave them away to her.
Thanks to everyone who has stopped by the TWLOHA booth on Soundwave Fest this year.

Collection as of 5.26.14. New additions include BTS Nightfang (and Savage - but he sucks and so stays in cassette mode), Black KO Dino-combiners w/ Autobot stickers, and the Linkin Park set.
This I made using the dark blue from the Lego Agents sets, and it even has a full cassette team, each of which does transform. For more pics check out www.mocpages.com/home.php/24639
