Make sure to watch the film past the credits, enjoy!
After running on over 100 festivals BOB finally reached Vimeo with his little running wheel. We would like to thank everyone who enjoyed the film, voted for us on festivals and gave us a laugh during the screenings. It's an incredible feeling to make people happy.
This was the first time we created an 3d animated movie during our studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg and we would have never thought that it became that successful.
There are a lot of things we would have done differently nowadays but for a small team, six months and almost no knowledge of the software, we are proud with the result and finally want to share it with everyone.

Project: BSkyB Arts HD - The Making of Music & Sound
Director: Andrew Diey
The 4 x Sky Arts HD idents which we create the music & sound for now have their own "making of" to accompanying the idents.
Sky Arts HD Idents here: vimeo.com/15011723
This Making of film was created by our creative director Andrew Diey who wanted to capture the magic that goes into the scoring and designing sound to the off-beat and wonderful visuals.
This is all about how we go about creating a piece of work .. from initial foley stages through to the end mix process in the studio.
How we did it: Filming all aspects of the sound recording process and capturing the performance by Ben who is one of our in-house creative directors. We wanted to be able to share what goes into the sound creation from the musical performances, to the home-brew software [yes we write our own software] and the home-brew boxes which give us a unique spin on how to take our sound design into unusual yet rewarding areas. Magnus also makes an appearance in this film, He is head of production.

Out of Countenance
AudioVisual performance
Stefano D'Alessio | Martina Menegon
Vienna 2013
Out of countenance is a dialogue between two faces, deformed and transformed by a digital process into something strange, obsolete. The facial expressions are exaggerated and amplified, drew in a 3-Dimensional space, bringing the common feeling of expression in a different and distorted perception. The human face as known looses its physiognomy, allowing the other face to overlap, mix, fuse within it, turning into a digital creature, an extension of the human being in the digital era.
Two performers stands in front of their computer, positioned one to the extreme left and the other at the extreme right of the stage. The computers capture the performers faces thru their internal webcams, generating an interactive video flow that is projected on a screen. The projection screen fills the whole stage standing between the two performers. The two computers generate also an interactive audio flow. The performers interact with the system thru their movement, the expressions and distortions of their faces, generating different visuals and sounds.
The software in use in the two computers is created within MaxMSP/Jitter, two different patches are running on each computer.
The video images are captured in realtime by the two webcams, combined in different ways, distorted in time and space and transposed in a 3d environment.
Video and audio are always related, in sync and always interacting between each other.
The audio has different natures, pre-made, modified in realtime, realtime generated and generated via webcam interaction. The two software contained in both computer act as one audio visual generating flux and it has a fix time schedule that permit the performance development to have a precise order and execution.
Radium Audio Music & Sound design showreel for Early 2011.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Founder Foreword: Andrew Diey Dec 2010:
Radium Audio is a unique creative audio company hidden deep in the East End of London.
Our vision is to provide the highest quality sound & music, being fearless and bold about exploring new areas of creativity in the sonic universe.
All the sounds you hear on this showreel are original and have been crafted
organically from real instruments and from objects we have recorded in our
studios ...
Often our clients really treasure us ... and return to work with us time and
time again ... because we live and breathe sound and music.
What we have learned is this. "People don't just watch. They listen and
watch. People want to experience the brand not just the message... and the
right sound in advertising & branding delivers this.
If you choose to work with us, what you will get will be the most authentic
and original ideas.
