It offers some of the world's most staggering coastal scenery. Better still, there is no development – just a modest quay.
KC was wrapped in a warm, soft sonic blanket on 10/19 when Austin's Balmorhea and locals Sounding the Deep played Record Bar. Visit Too Much Rock at toomuchrock.com to see my photos and video of the show.
Jekyll Island - Georgia's most beautiful barrier island - 65% of it is undeveloped and HUGE battles are underway to try to keep it that way - a corrupt Jekyll Island Authority, along with the equally corrupt Governor of Georgia who appointed the JIA - are pulling out all the stops to make the Island unattainable by average Georgians, despite the fact that Jekyll is a State Park and thus belongs to the people!!!
Many of these photos were taken on the southernmost end of the island - - - St. Andrews' Sound - - - and you can see both Little Cumberland and Cumberland Islands in the distance.
The water birds gather in the late afternoon/early evening to eat dinner together and it is an amazing sight!!! I had never been on this part of the island before this visit and am deeply indebted to our good friend, Albert Tate, who is a Naturalist (among other wonderful things) and who has a home on Jekyll. He has some wonderful ideas for the future of Jekyll if we can just get people elected who won't prefer feathering their own nests to making sure the birds can build theirs in safety!

Private Sound Bath New York
When was the last time you gave yourself permission to step out of your busy routine?
A private sound bath or a sound immersion experience is a great way to unwind, restore balance, and rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit. It offers you the chance to clear your head, get out of your habitual box, (re)connect with your life force, expand consciousness, and sink into a deep state of relaxation.
Yes, YOU deserve it so much!
Besides bringing you more in touch with yourself, a sound bath also enhances a sense of connectedness with those around you. This makes it the perfect shared experience, be it with your loved ones (sound bath for couples), friends, or colleagues. (sound meditation for businesses).
All of our therapeutic sessions comprise a meticulous selection of hand-made instruments, letting you enjoy finely tuned sounds crafted by delicate human touch.
In search of the best quality, every single instrument has been carefully hand-picked. This quest for perfection took us nearly a decade, and it brought us to places as far as India and Nepal where we tested several thousands of instruments, attentively listening to and learning from the ancient wisdom imprinted in these antique masterpieces.
ARE YOU READY TO RELAX YOUR MIND AND BODY BY ABSORBING THE GENTLE, HARMONIOUS VIBRATIONS?
Book a private sound bath at the location of your choice.
No previous meditation experience is needed!
