We last saw Jackson Browne playing his countless old hits – and his new music – at Bluesfest 2016 (see: From Buskers to Big Bands). Once again the tent was packed. Unable to get anywhere near the stage, I contented myself watching the sound engineers at work while listening to the familiar tunes.

I've wanted to illustrate a book for kids for a long time. As they say, be careful what you wish for. After months of late nights, working weekends, ignoring my kids and avoiding my friends, I've finished 2 ABC books for a publisher in the Twin Cities. The first one, My Favorite Sounds from A to Z is available now, and the second, My Favorite Places from A to Z will be out later this fall.
