Different Sounds are used to mask the disturbing noise at night. We use different sounds like white noise, brown noise, gray noise, pink noise, blue and violet noise, which are useful for sleep better and relax.

I wasn't seated on the side of the train facing Puget Sound, but a pair of seats that were went unoccupied during the trip. That gave me the opportunity to make the follows images. The red in the lower left-hand corner is the reflection of a shirt worn by the passenger in the seat ahead of me.
In wintertime, many of these mountains are covered in snow. We were in New Zealand at the end of the summer and during a months-long drought, so snow cover was very low.
