Sound II, a statue by Antony Gormley situated in the underground crypt of Winchester Cathedral. The statue always looks at it's best when reflected in the floodwater that seeps into the crypt during the wetter winter months.
The Vaulted crypt dates from 11th Century.
Last August 5 I was at the Milan Bluegrass Festival. Before the show started the members of Fast Track, a newly-formed band, were on the stage working with the sound crew.
On the stage in this photo are Duane Sparks, with the guitar, and crew member Mike Paige, who was setting up mikes. My daily-project photo, taken a couple minutes after this one, featured Duane, again, and mandolinist Jesse Brock.

(Other) Photos taken on 8/5/2021: My "accounting" model doesn't work during a bluegrass festival since I'm basically taking photographs all day. I took 538 photos with my Olympus during the day, mostly at the festival. I also took 1 photo, of the sunrise, with my phone.
Sound opened like a wound;
I looked — and found my face.
May I meet the one I resist with open hands.
Sound fell away; only light remained.
The Sounds of Summer and a hard-working EMD GP9R as the engineer on ESPN QT-09 gets the train moving to work a few customers.
With the prospect of 2 coal trains,2X37s on the flasks and 2X37s on a railtour along the tyne valley line what could go wrong ? Cloud and lots of it! with very little sunshine !
