Another look at "my" pool in the creek, my place of serenity.

I've always liked cafe/coffeehouse style music. Got the see Andrew Figueroa Chiang today at Gizzi's. Check out his stuff He's really good. Oh, and I'm loving iPhone photog :D

When I, personally, think of the word"soothing", I immediately think of the shower/bath in our home. It is a simple thing, but it is absolutely my soothing escape from the day to day concerns and demands that I encounter. Hot water - scorching hot - seems to melt away the stress!

Life is a highway, and I found this picture to be very comforting.

53rd Annual Folklife Festival, Seattle, WA 2024; Native American artist John Halliday (coyoteinsightart.com/about), member of the Muckleshoot tribe and descended from the Warm Springs Yakama tribe, playing his flute next to one of the merchant booths. Seated next to him is Native American community advocate Kim Camara (botanicgardens.uw.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2022/10/...), of Northern Arapaho and Blackfeet heritage with connections to the Lower Elwha S’Klallam and Makah peoples, and Director (among several other roles) of the Windz of Change Alliance.

The sea depths under water at Coral Bay change rather dramatically. Near the shore is a long stretch of very shallow water, and then it dives off into the still-shallow coral reefs.
