When I saw this flower through the viewfinder, back in July, it gave me a good feeling. It's not tack-sharp in all areas, so I have held off sharing it here, but I still like the soothing feeling it imparts.

Quand j'ai vu cette fleur à travers le viseur, en juillet, cela m'a donné une bonne impression. Ce n'est pas très précis dans tous les domaines, alors j'ai hésité à le partager ici, mais j'aime toujours la sensation apaisante qu'il donne.
10 stop ND filter, tripod. Converted to b&w, minor editing. "Locarno" is terribly inaccurate - this is from the Verzasca valley, from along a walk from Sonogno to Lavertezzo that I've now done three times, always with a tripod but equally always with limited time due to bus connections. Some time in the future I want to make sure I have all the time in the world here.
At Sjælsø there is always something to photograph. This particular photo show a not-so-uncommon Danish landscape. We don't have grand vistas with mirror lakes in front and snow covered mountain peaks in the back but what do have are hills that exhibit gentle shapes, with fields and/or trees following the contours. At least to me, these gentle shapes are really soothing.

A colorful vibrant garden filled with the most beautiful colors that uplift the spirit and promote a sense of peace and healing.
A garden where the flowers bloom in a spectrum of vivid colors each adding to the overall joy and serenity of the space.
The surrounding greenery creates a soothing contrast, it is inviting us to take in deep breaths of fresh air and feel connected to nature.
In such a space, mood is enhanced, peace and healing takes place, and every corner radiate tranquility.

He had no idea I was photographing him until he heard the click of the shutter.. .. then he turned around and gave me a dirty look.. LOL.. That's ok.. us photographers are used to that aren't we? LOL :-)

Whose troubles aren’t soothed by a visit to the sea?
When you first arrive at the shore, you interact with waves as individual occurrences. “That’s a big one!” or “Run, it’s coming!” But as you spend more time, you’ll let go of this because there’s always a next wave already approaching.
The dark sand tells me how far the waves may go, and I walk just beyond. You learn to see the ocean as one large creature with many moods, rocking and rolling, always changing, always in motion.
Whether fast or slow, there’s nothing in this universe that isn’t changing. The golden waves gently lullaby me into accepting this truth, and a peace fills my heart.
