Taken within half a mile of the previous two shots on a nice spring afternoon. I love the colour green and it's actually my favourite colour which isn't surprising as its natures favourite too and is known to be calming.... Not vintage lens photography but trying out my Tamron 28-75 2.8 lens that I purchased for versatility when going abroad and I haven't used it a couple of years now due to Covid. This was taken at the far end of this versatile zoom at 75mm @ f/2.8 and did a pretty nice job I thought. Hand held so ISO was pretty high @ 1/2500 but quickly dealt with using a noise reduction filter but the noise wasn't that bad tbh....

The Mei Loci giant pebbles by local sculptor Ben Barrel come into their own in the early evening sunlight and we’re casting wonderful shadows adding to effect I think….and the running young lady a positive gift.
St Michael’s Mount catching the evening sunlight and the surrounding scenery made a wonderful backdrop and the tide was right in.
I felt lucky getting such wonderful conditions on that beautiful evening…
Hope your evening is wonderful this Saturday night :)

I hoped for the Jackdaw to stay in shot and he did. The gentleman in his sartorial attire I would have liked better sitting alone but you can't have everything and the empty bench on this beautiful sunny day in St Ives with its faded memorial bunch of flowers conveyed an air of poignancy..to me anyway...
No link to the others, except it was the same city on the same day and I thought she looked pretty and stylish :)

On November 26, 2015, the first German Eataly opened its doors in the historic Schrannenhalle, an important commercial and cultural building in the heart of Munich, with the aim of bringing the former market back to life and its former glory.
At 50,000 square feet, the bustling two-story market is already on its way to revitalization. Eataly Munich follows the same format as our first location in Torino, Italy, offering a place where guests can eat, shop, and learn about Italian food and drink. Accordingly, the market is overflowing with 10,000 high-quality products interspersed among nine restaurants and counters, two cafes, a private events space, and a cooking school with a rich culinary program.
Pulled in at Kneeton near East Bridgford on the way home from a visit to the coast. I liked this shot of the sheep and lambs and this is cropped to about a quarter I reckon.
Its sharp enough I suppose but I dislike the oof area's..
This is the lens I was referring to that I just don't like that much but it doesn't do such a bad job but..... you know I just am not that pleased with its performance.
This was shot at 132.00mm f/6.3 @1/200 and iso 100
Those lambs are irresistible but I didn't upload because imho something is lacking.. and if you are thinking of saying mint sauce, don't even think about it lol...
A still life using one of my vintage bottle collection and a handful of Wild Clematis seeds that Jonathan snipped for me at my request on his morning walk with the dogs...he is very good like that and also learning the names of wild flowers at the same time. Old mans beard as ii is commonly called grows prolifically along a fence near where we live so this handful of seeds won't go amiss. Handy for a rainy day shot or when I just fancy shooting a few still life shots and beats off boredom at the same time as helping keep low mood away....

Im Nebel ruhet noch die Welt.
Noch träumen Wald und Wiesen.
Bald siehst du, wenn der Schleier
fällt,
den blauen Himmel unverstellt,
herbstkräftig die gedämpfte Welt
in warmem Golde fliessen.
Eduard Mörike (1804-1875)
I did take a few Silver Studded Blue Butterflies in the dunes this year but their wings mostly torn by the high winds. This was in the dunes last year and taken with a CZ Pancolar vintage lens hand held. I checked and this one wasn't in my selection uploaded last year. It was a complete washout this year sadly for the butterflies the three weeks we were there....
