From my summer holiday and languishing with my other shots on my PC that were taken using my oldest Sony, the A7M2 with a CZ Jena Pancolar 50mm1.8 and a helicoid focusing ring. Belly shot of course and made sure Jonathan in the vicinity just in case I couldn't get back up lol....taken in the Towans at Gwithian. The dogs get a walk and I get a few pics and Jonathan gets a rest. Very pleasant allround as we weren't , still aren't in the best of health but a holiday in Cornwall is the best medicine I reckon... I forgot the name of this very tiny flower too but again too tired to look just now...

All of these apartment entrances were behind locked iron gates.

I managed to stick the lens through (without getting it stuck ) fortunately :)

I don't expect / or indeed hope you to fave or to comment on all three or any of these shots but I simply couldn't decide which if any to upload. The light on this occasion was not particularly good but I was delighted to come across Bluebells here even though they were a little the worse for wear due to the gale force winds earlier in the week I imagine...

I would guess this short walk was under a mile long but yielded up some pretty Bluebell shots. I almost didn't go but I know I would have missed seeing these Bluebells and kicked myself if i didn't make the effort. It did cost me me little even not doing belly shots. I knelt and these were taken handheld and using the monitor back LCD..

Because my balance even more compromised by doing this I shot them using continuous high and believe is how I actually achieved sharp focus. I very rarely shoot on continuous but it got me my shots so hey ho...I was using the CZ Pancolar vintage lens on the Sony a7rii and I think without the little innovations such as the tilting screen I may have not got these at all...

I stopped down between f/5.6 and f/8 but unfortunately not certain but I think was f/8 gave plenty of bubbles which I actually now dislike but the woodland atmosphere comes across I think. There are at least four trees in the background, two to the right and two to the left. Am following this with a shot I believe was taken stopped down to f/5.6 I believe of the Buttercups in the previous shot. but don't expect people to comment on two shots. These are mainly to show the different bokeh from this tiny lens. The first Buttercup shot was taken wider at f/2

Thank you for looking and i hope you all have a wonderful day..Sue

The first photo from the left is taken using the Tair 11a that I received for Christmas and the other two shots are older using a macro lens. I didn't get the separation for the type of bokeh I had wished using the vintage Tair 11a when shooting these. kneeling in and also putting my hand in dog poo .That didn't help tbh but I can only blame my own photography at the end of the day....I got outdoors though and that counts for a lot...

Of course I don't expect comments or faves on three uploads at a time and was just bringing my photo stream up to date as to how things are going for my friends on here..

I have been looking at your remarkable photos but felt so awful.

Was taken by ambulance to A&E three weeks ago today. Had symptoms of heart attack and an ECG taken by paramedics was abnormal. They insisted a blood enzyme test to be the only definitive test even though my symptoms were easing off. Enzymes were up and another ECG abnormal so kept for hours more and then the Enzyme levels dropped and I was diagnosed with Oesophageal Spasm instead caused by............. stress the Dr reckoned. Who would have guessed ?

So busy and so fast it was a little difficult using the vintage manual lens to get sharp focus on the Bee. A few got deleted but several passable with this being my favourite I think....

My So-Called Magnified Life - Mt Airy, Philadelphia, PA (Sony a7 Mark II - Voigtlander 110mm F2.5 APO Macro + Atomos Shinobi External Monitor)

So common I had never heard of it lol..nor seen it before. I was enchanted by it and have at least 30 different shots all varying in shades of red, pink and white and blue and white. The reason for this choice today was my effort in doing the 50 mile round drive to take photos before the morning dew had burned off. Would have been simpler to take a spray bottle i'm sure. I hoped to show here more of the capabilities of the vintage lens which again is The Meyer Gorlitz.Trioplan Red v 50mm 2.9 which was mounted on a Sony A7 series camera along with an m42 washer type mount and a helicoid. The plant was on a bank with its fern like tendrils curling this way and that and so was not easy to get on the same focal plane and my knee took a right hammering.....

Ps my decision making made me swap the best dew bokeh shot of deep red flowers to this shot with the variegated red and pink flowers :)
