Nyhavn Street in Copenhagen, Denmark is famous for its wonderful architecture, canal and colorful buildings.
Looks like this boat house has seen better days. It is located on a Fjord in Norway and has real character.
Although I don't shoot "still life" images often, I love the art in doing them. This is my latest attempt.
One day I'll fly away
Leave your love to yesterday
What more can your love do for me?
When will love be through with me?
Why live life from dream to dream?
And dread the day that dreaming ends?
Song sung by Randy Crawford
The Nashville Skyline at the Waterfront provides nice photo opportunities. Standing on the Pedestrian Bridge over the Cumberland River, I saw that the clouds were moving fast, so I added a ND6 filter so that I could get a creamer effect in the sky and used a 30 second exposure time at f22. It provides a nice effect.
Taken on my woodland walk a few days ago. Been busy going to Skegness and back to look for my lost tripod but it wasn't at our caravan so I had to order a new one :(
Taken yet again from my local woodland which is a truly magical place. I love this place which is packed full of memories including playing truant to wander alone to my secret places..I sought peace and tranquility from a very young child and this place provided it :)
Untorn and Torn Untorn - Mt Airy, Philadelphia, PA - USA (Sony a7 Mark II - Sony G 50mm F2.5 Compact Lens + Atomos Shinobi External Monitor)
Durch die dunkelgold'gen Garben
Leuchten fröhlich bunte Farben, Blumen, die die Mahd versäumten
Blicken müde mit verträumten Grossen Augen in das Feld.
Weisse Schmetterlinge streichen
In den milden, sommerweichen
Blumendüften auf und nieder,
Und der Bienen leise Lieder
Wiegen in den Schlaf die Welt...

Shot yesterday Afternoon during a Forest Walk with the Sony ILCE-7M2 and the Sony FE 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS at F=16.0.
It's a bit dark but if you zoom in you can see a kayak and a couple of people on the Lighthouse, happy humpday.

How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears
Wish you were here.

This Sea Holly is taken looking inland where the sand dune (Towans) were nicely lit by the low early evening sun...
Same lens as explained in the previous two photos to get a feel of the bokeh possible from the one lens. This was stopped down to I believe f/5.6 but I do know I tried at f/4 too. The main objective was to show the bokeh possibilities of this tiny lens so it doesn't matter hugely which it was as is shows enough I think how you can play with all the possibilities. Minor adjustments made but I try my best to get it right in camera which gives me so much pleasure when using vintage lenses....
Cheers Sue, no worries about commenting as I know more than one upload can be difficult to keep up with...Sue :)
Same camera and lens combo as the butterfly shots but acquiring macro type results using the attached focusing helicoid. Taken at Trengwainton Garden near Penzance in Cornwall. A National Trust Property and one of the few where dogs are allowed..

But believe it or not I had to lower the saturation on some of these so they don't burn your eyeballs ;)

I don't expect / or indeed hope you to fave or to comment on all three or any of these shots but I simply couldn't decide which if any to upload. The light on this occasion was not particularly good but I was delighted to come across Bluebells here even though they were a little the worse for wear due to the gale force winds earlier in the week I imagine...
