I'm impressed - I've wondered what this wind turbine powered, and when I went to have a look yesterday, found it had four or so accompanying solar panels running Two Men and A Truck.
You can see the panels adjusting themselves in the video.

The families partnered with Solar XL project sponsors Bold Nebraska, 350.org, Indigenous Environmental Network, CREDO, and Oil Change International to put renewable energy directly in the pipeline’s path. Solar XL underscores the need to center solutions to climate change while rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline and resisting the expansion of the fossil fuel industry.

These icons of American industry ran on coal mined in America by Americans. Those who mined for coal loved their jobs. They were employed rain or shine. America could never have become the great nation we were had we tried to move these engines of industry by solar power or wind power. Certainly, there was some smoke, but where there was smoke there was fire, and that fire was the economy that made this country self-sufficient, independent and proud. Once we learn that we cannot control Nature, we will be much happier.

These SEGS comprise 150 to 354 megawatts of installed parabolic trough solar thermal electric generating capacity located in California's Mojave desert. The combined California facilities produce more than 99% of the commercially available solar generated electric power in the U.S.

Senator Coons toured the T.S. Smith & Sons, Delaware’s only solar-powered Century Farm and Sussex County's only commercial apple orchard. T.S. Smith & Sons is one of the largest solar-powered farms in Delmarva and the panels were manufactured in Newark at Motech.
This solar thermal unit is one of several installed on the roof of a York Housing Authority single-room occupancy building. The tubes are filled with propylene glycol, which doesn't freeze and which will be heated by the sun, pumped through the system and help heat the building's water.
Thanks to a $2 million competitive, energy-specific American Recovery and Reinvestment Act fund, the Housing Authority of the City of York has installed photovoltaic/solar panels and solar thermal units to service one of its single-occupancy buildings on 449 East King Street. The 24 solar panels, which are now active, have replaced the 93 apartment units' wall air-conditioning units and will also help heat the apartment units. The solar thermal units will help heat water for the building.
