Some last afternoon shadows in our backyard. I will be looking for more inspiration in the backyard in the coming days.
Peafowl are common were I live, so during social distancing, I figured I could keep my camera busy by taking pictures of the birds as they pass by. This peacock was hanging out on a tree right outside my door.
In many ways, R.E.M. was part of the soundtrack of my life as a university student from 1986 to 1991. When Out of Time came out it was different than their previous albums, but I too could sense a change was going to happen to me as I was on the precipice of graduation. It's been a journey the last 30 years.
The Street Parade is the most attended technoparade in Europe, since the end of the Berlin's Love Parade 2010. It takes place in Zurich, Switzerland and is one of the largest techno parties in the world and the largest annual event in Zurich.
Officially a demonstration for freedom, love and tolerance attended by up to a one million people, it proceeds along the side of Lake Zurich on the second Saturday of August

Drivers Photography
We create Character looks for Actors and Actresses to develop a diverse portfolio.
These Characters are then brought to life thru photo and video and tested in short films and demo reels.
I’ve started a series of photos which I hope might capture in some small way the feelings of isolation and solitude people must be experiencing while social distancing.
I’m keeping these images intentionally out of focus for a few reasons, one of which is that I feel like the virus has made us all ghosts unable to participate in life, anymore.
As we hadn't been able to celebrate JJ's birthday as we'd hoped, we had the brainwave that we could get some of the family together online to play some word and drawing games!! Matt and Sophie, my sister and niece, Cath, were up for it, and at 8pm we managed to hook up successfully! It was a fun way to get together and we all agreed we must do it again sometime!
(The top pic is from Matt's phone - he said their cat Cardi was confused as she could hear our voices but she didn't know where we were!!)
Clear labels on board the trains operated by Transpennine Express to indicate which seats are and aren't available for use to enable the government guidelines to be adhered to. With the only travel permitted being that of "essential journeys only" during the COVID-19 pandemic passenger numbers are so low that the reduced capacity isn't becoming too much of an issue at the moment.
