The main bit of Calshot yesterday was rammed with people so we headed back in the car for this bit where social distancing rules could be observed. It was so nice to be outside for an hour or 2 just letting the stress slip off.

Day III - 28 (of 40) - Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 - Photographer Russell McNeil PhD (Physics) lives on Vancouver Island, where he works as a writer.

I didn’t realize it until earlier this week, but, since the Presidio Golf Course has been shut down due to the shelter-in-place orders, they’ve allowed it to be used as a public park space. Well, until tomorrow, anyway, when restrictions are loosened, slightly, and allow for golf courses to open up again. I decided to take a walk through, with my camera, since it is a rare opportunity to walk the course without the danger of flying golf balls. The front couple holes were packed with people, including children playing in the bunkers, but it thinned out further back. It’s a beautiful course dropped right in the middle of the lush Presidio. Here is a stack of photographs from my walk.
