I saw those two in a small bar/cafe somewhere in Paris. It was already late evening so sitting there, enjoying a few drinks and some friendly smalltalk was quite comfortable. They've been very focused on their game which was, for me, very interesting to watch. I like those kind of old tactical games, like chess for example although I'm a terrible player. In Japan the father of a friend of mine tried to explain me the rules of Go but because he spoke more or less only japanese it was quite hard for me to understand more than the basics.
Maple and I decided to go to the playground. It had been raining earlier that day, but it cleared up nicely and I was thinking it was a good idea. Well, I forgot that everything would be wet!
So, after a little bit of disappointment on Maple's part, I told Maple we'd go to an indoor playground. We started heading towards this cool little "kids cafe" called Smalltalk, but when I started to walk in, Maple said she wanted to go to the "other one". After a little inquiry, I realized that she meant the one at the Leiner department store on Mariahilferstrasse.
Not only does Leiner have a little indoor playground in the cafe (with rooftop decks and a view!), but the entire children's furniture department is, as far as Maple is concerned, a playground -- slides, tunnels, books and, importantly, the hand chair!

... Chorkonzert in einer Bibliothek! Ein Spitzenchor und ein witziges Setting für so eine Veranstaltung! Auch was die Akustik angeht. Wahrscheinlich dämpfen die vielen Bücher unerwünschte Halleffekte sehr gut ... Und anschließend noch Smalltalk bei netten Getränken ... alles inklusive. Ein sehr gelungener Abend!
