warten. warte-junks warten in besonders dafür hergerichteten zimmern. wartezimmern. beim arzt. mit den anderen. die warten auch. worauf? auf hilfe. auf zuversicht. auf gewissheit. so oder so.
wartezimmer sind die ideale location für fortgeschrittene autisten. die haben sich nicht verabredet. weil das nicht autisten-art ist. die treffen sich in jedem wartezimmer. zuverlässig. das muss so sein.
wer sich ins wartezimmer begibt, versteckt sich. hinter längst abgelaufenem bedruckten papier. und notiert: verschärftes händewaschen nach der wartetei nicht vergessen. wegen der keime auf zerblätterten bildderfrau, geo und stern
wartezimmer-benutzer mit smalltalk- bedürfnissen kommen vor. sind aber irgendwie peinlich. vielleicht sind sie ja vor dir an der reihe. dann musst du nicht mehr ausdruckslos und stumm vor dich hin starren. weil sie endlich weg sind.
selten, aber wirklich perfekt sind wartezimmer, die warten. auf wartende.

Maple and I decided to go to the playground. It had been raining earlier that day, but it cleared up nicely and I was thinking it was a good idea. Well, I forgot that everything would be wet!
So, after a little bit of disappointment on Maple's part, I told Maple we'd go to an indoor playground. We started heading towards this cool little "kids cafe" called Smalltalk, but when I started to walk in, Maple said she wanted to go to the "other one". After a little inquiry, I realized that she meant the one at the Leiner department store on Mariahilferstrasse.
Not only does Leiner have a little indoor playground in the cafe (with rooftop decks and a view!), but the entire children's furniture department is, as far as Maple is concerned, a playground -- slides, tunnels, books and, importantly, the hand chair!
