Colour-coded slips -- on which 'meningitis', 'measles', 'tetanus' and 'vitamin A' are written in Portuguese, the country's official language -- are counted and stacked on top of a cardboard box that serves as a makeshift table, in a warehouse at the EPI (Expanded Programme on Immunization) centre at the central hospital in Maputo, the capital. The slips will be distributed to individuals to indicate which vaccine or vitamin they will receive. The cardboard box carries the markings of UNICEF's supply operation in Copenhagen, Denmark, from where many of the vaccines and related supplies have recently come.

John goes to the desk, it's now 6pm, he said to the night receptionist: (what a day. I'm leaving late because major issues came up,. I'm going home, have a good night Roxie). Roxie said:: (the same to you dearie). John went home, had something to eat and went to his suite, he fell asleep right after dinner.

This is simply a slip made out of Southern Ice porcelain. I had a bag that sat in the garage for about 5 years. It was a little hard. I decided to turn it into a slip. You can make a slip out of any clay body. Porcelain and iron clay bodies make particularly nice slips.
Southern Ice has almost no reaction in an atmospheric firing. At least that is what I have heard. I thought it would make a nice complement to my black slip.
