the details

I saw something today, it reminded me of you.

Everything fucking reminds me of you.

I saw a picture of a cat. An ad for a bath.

There was this one time, I think it was like

something we once laughed at.

The worst is when it's a song, I can't shut it off

when it's one of those. It gets stuck in a loop,

or is that just me, where for those three minutes

and twenty seven seconds, there's someone else

that I swear is inside of my head. Or even worse, yours.

I stare at your name in those moments,

once or twice I've slipped up and said something stupid.

Just to get over the space, until I can crawl along.`

I let it take my breath, let the tears fall all over again,

then I remember that meme I saw again.

Never let someone tell you twice, that they don't want you.

I swear I can hear your voices laughing at me, as I read it again.

Love is deaf, dumb, and blind, and some nights.. I'm the queen of it all.

This is my boat slip and I have one for rent. 125 for 40 prims to dock your boat and use this area. This is in Novatron on the continent of Corsica with access to Linden water and sailing through many many sims.

Came upon this surreal scene recently while exploring the historic part of a local cemetery. I always gravitate to the central core of these burial grounds. Many of these cemeteries have been annexed over the years and are still active. In the more recent sections, graveside decorations abound; all manner of flowers, statuettes, figurines, wind chimes, and landscaping touches. The absence of all of this is what strikes me most as I walk into the older sections. These people are long dead, most well over 100 years. There is no immediate family left to visit, let alone decorate. People seldom come here. The effect is that of deserted island right out in the open. These pockets of desolation pull me in every time. It's the sad energy I think; and the visuals. These scene here was greatly enhanced by the extreme overgrowth. As if Mother Nature was intent on pulling the monuments (and even her own trees) into the ground, erasing all trace of them. A surreal scene and compelling metaphor. I've been here before, yet the mystical effect never seems to diminish.
