Convict Lake, Mono County, California 2012

I did this comp just over a year ago and it got a lot of love so when I got to this spot on my walk on Sunday, I couldn't resist doing another one as the light was amazing.

An antique shop bike spied while wandering through the narrow lanes of Yuasa's old town. Wakayama, Japan.

The guide book suggested the laneway was a section of the Kii Road and once part of the Kumano Kodo trail.

Not sure of the fork rake angle on the bike but it's way slacker than my Honzo and the seat is slammed all the way down. Remarkable really given the town itself is relatively flat :-)

Leica Q2 Monochrom, Summilux 28/1.7 ASPH, 1/40th sec at f/1.7, ISO 200.

Have realised from those camera settings exactly how dark (late blue hour) it was and again, how well the Q2M handles low light.

Keeping watch on the B9119 below Craiglich.

An airport worker taking a break before departure of KL1779.

He may be comfortable now, but I am pretty sure he got into serious trouble not much later...

Happy Fence Friday!

I´ve been having some trouble with the colors in my images. Found out that it was about embedded ICC profiles and trying to work around this by experimenting with CS5's feature "Save for web".

Snowing again today and this long wintery spell is even getting to me, but I remind myself of where our wee cottage is situated and feel grateful.
