The boys discovered the red bricks of the roundabout and christened it as one of their many known skate spots around the hood. They got a lot of strange looks from drivers—and I got stared down a few times too—but this is what makes our neighbourhood interesting. If everyone was a "good kid" and stayed at home, this neighbourhood would be a much duller place.

The Prague's Metronome is a giant, functional metronome located overlooking the Vltava River and the city center of Prague. It was erected in 1991, and stands on the plinth left vacant by the destruction of an enormous monument to former Soviet leader Joseph Stalin (the monument was destroyed in 1962). The 75-foot-tall (23 m) Metronome is now mostly a scenic vista and also a famous skatespot where skateboarders from Europe and around the world congregate and film throughout the year.
Skateboarders suggest that the city is not just a place for working and shopping but a true pleasure-ground, a place where the human body, emotions and energy can be expressed to the full.
Miami Marine Stadium | From Wikipedia:
"The 6,566 seat stadium was built in 1963 on land donated for "water sports," and designed by architect Hilario Candela, then-a 28-year-old recent immigrant from Cuba. It was dedicated as the Ralph Munroe Marine Stadium opened, completed at a cost of around $2 million ($15.2 million, adjusted for current inflation). A speed boat racer, James Tapp, was killed on opening day. The venue, located just south of Downtown Miami, was revered for its scenic views of Downtown and Miami Beach, hosting motorboat events, and events featuring the likes of Mitch Miller, Sammy Davis, Jr., and U.S. President Richard Nixon"
Now completely abandoned for years, graffiti haven and DIY skatespot. AKA my kind of place :)
Started a little Norwegian autumn get away yesterday, kicked off really nice with a ride straight from the airport to the wall, the classic Gamlebyen skatespot in Oslo. Quick wall with 1-color fill-in the sunshine, Goal brought the paint and the oldschool hiphop like a champ!
"I've seen you in my dreams".
It's about my roadtrip through Denmark, Sweden and Norway. I always had the urge to visit and travel the North, and I still don't know why I feel a certain personal connection to it. I actually started the journey without having a real plan apart from visiting some famous skatespots There is still a lot to discover & it wasn't my last journey to Scandinavia. I tried to capture these wonderful countries with my 35mm & 120mm analogue cameras, because I love the imperfection in every single shot and it kind of reflects my point of view.
Eetu's no comply on one of the roughest and hardest skatespots I know.

20 years ago I rode my skateboard on this sketchy quarter pipe made out of the bridge structure. Now I just use the bridge to commute to work.

Belgium, Lommel, skatespot at the Souverein sports facility compound.
This boy displayed a very spectacular looking jump in midair. He was still training hard to also perfect the landing part.
I told him that landing is relevant for video captures. For photography, a cool looking air time moment is most important.
I shall post some other pics from this session in my alternate action oriented photostream: JeromesFlexots
