I took this from a spot in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia overlooking the Schuylkill River. I was about 200' away I would guess with my lens out all the way to 250mm (375mm equivalent in 35mm format) and hand-held.
One single tree stands in a field
Like a newly formed secret, shut and sealed
Thrusting forward, a mystery revealed

This is a single from the Look Alive shoot.
I really like how the lighting turned out in this one. It's something I tried there, and it turned out how I wanted it too!
Here is a picture of a single droplet in mid-air that I caught dripping out of my parent's kitchen faucet. I thought the strainer made an interesting background focused through the droplet.
I really like the lines and sparks from this roman candle. I might do a edit just because I can! :-)
My and some friends decided to venture out into the cold tonight. This is 1 pic that came from the set. Just added my name other than that SOOC.
Thanks to Trey for Modeling and Dave for manning the fireworks.
Wesco’s classic design in miniature. As an all-round waste receptacle modelled in the style of the Wesco Kickmaster, the miniature version is ideal for compact spaces and/or smaller amounts of waste. The Single Master is perfect for small households, home offices, children’s rooms or bathrooms. A simple press of the foot pedal effortlessly opens the two stainless steel half-domes situated at the top. The hygienic 9-litre plastic insert is especially easy to clean. Available colours: white, red, lemon yellow, lime green, almond, orange, pink, blackberry, black and stainless steel. The cheerfully colourful SINGLE MASTER looks great combined with the SINGLE GRANDY. Ideal for small kitchens! Available Summer 2011.
Learned this last month at PMQG meeting - from Rachel! glue basting curves. It is much faster than pinning with the same results. You need very little glue and you can use any water based glue like Elmers. I bought this one because I wanted the bottle and will refill with Elmers when it's empty.
This single morning glory came up on the bank of a drainage ditch behind our backyard in Madison, Alabama. Usually they grow in large clusters.
