Singer Daisy Joe from the band Kalan Wi, during a performance. Formed in 2007, in the Lil’wat Nation ( Mt. Currie BC) Kalan Wi are Leroy Joe (vocals, guitars), Daisey Joe( singer and hand drum), Russell Wallace (vocals, hand drum, keys, bass etc..) and Richard Doucet (percussionist, back up vocals). The fest took place in Ottawa at the Summer Solestice Aboriginal Fest & Competition Pow Wow, in Massey Vincent Park.

I've always been facinated with the engineering that goes into these sewing machines.

Taken with the Nikon FM with a 50mm series E lens. This was an accidental underexposure. I loaded up the camera with Ilford FP4 but shot it at ASA 400. Two stops under. Ooops.

My first attempt at push processing, I developed it in Xtol for 16min at 68F. Grain was okay, but the contrast was excessive.
