As well as being very successful car makers, Singer made a number of commercial vehicles. This 1931 Singer Van, JU 827, was found in a barn in very poor condition. It was restored by staff at Coventry Transport Museum where it is now on display.
A lovely robin (Erithacus rubecula) have started to sing every morning outside our house when I'm off to work, even though it's still winter. It's so lovely to hear again, and makes me excited for spring to come ♡
I haven't seen the singer yet, so here is one I met last winter.

Madame Pierre Gautreau (the Louisiana born Virginie Amelie Avegno;1859-1915) was born in Paris for her artful appearance.Sargent hoped to enhance his reputation by painting and exhibiting her portrait.Working without a commission but with his sitter's complicity,he emphasized her daring personal style, showing the right strap of her gown slipping from her shoulder. At the Salon of 1884,the portrait received more ridicule than praise.Sargent repainted the shoulder strap and kept the work for over thirty years. When eventually he sold it to the Metropolitan,he commented,"I suppose it is the best thing I've ever done,"but asked the museum disguise the sitter's name.
John Singer Sargent spent part of several summers painting plein-air subjects in Italy's Val d'Aosta. The resulting works reveal his pleasure in the description of vividly brilliant light. To suggest an alluring sensuality,Sargent often dressed his models in costumes he had purchased in the Middle East. Here, several figures seem to merge with the water, enhancing the intimacy of the gathering. All three male figures were modeled by Nicola d'Iverno,Sargent's servant,a fact that reveals the contrivances underpinning this seemingly casual scene.

The part of this exhibition was the dimming lights, they kept coming and going at random.

I managed one shot! Not sure what this crop is but it really is colourful, the field looks orange, almost like flickering flames, even without the golden light, a lot like this in our area. I prayed it would look to the right into the light but no luck.
