It was a lovely evening. This musician was playing wonderful music at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, BC, Canada.

Confusion possible
Orchis simia est voisine de l'orchis guerrier (Orchis militaris) avec laquelle elle peut s'hybrider. Elle s'hybride également avec Orchis purpurea, donnant des individus dont les fleurs ont la forme de O. simia mais de couleur plus foncée, rappelant O. purpurea (Source Wikipédia).
Possible confusion
Orchis simia is close to the warrior orchis (Orchis militaris) with which it can hybridize. It also hybridizes with Orchis purpurea, giving individuals whose flowers are shaped like O. simia but darker in color, reminiscent of O. purpurea

Depois de chorar demais aqui e lá no blog e no ouvido da Nani, da Kikita e do maridim, ele me deu essa lindinha aí. Tem quase 2 meses que ela está aqui me ajudando, mas como Isaura é timida, foi dificil convence lá a tirar uma fotinha! rsrs

This is a Japanese coffee pot, quite similar to traditional tea pots. The ptotery style is known as "Banko-Yaki". The interior is not glazed and has an uneven surface, so as to allow absorption of the bitterness, for a more mellow taste.
You just put ground coffee into the pot and pour hot water on it. A stainless steel filter prevents the grounds from getting into your coffee.
It's cute and tastes very nice! 😊
Un grand singe, figé par l’objectif du photographe, semble pris dans une contemplation interdite. Son regard, chargé de désir et de fascination, se pose sur la compagne du chef de la troupe.
Pourtant, il reste immobile, comme paralysé par les règles tacites de la hiérarchie sociale des primates.
Ce moment suspendu témoigne non seulement de la complexité des interactions sociales chez les grands singes, mais aussi d’une humanité troublante dans leur comportement, rappelant parfois nos propres dilemmes silencieux face à l’interdit …

Macaques de Mandchourie ou "Singes des neiges"
Les macaques japonais sont les seuls singes au monde capables de survivre dans des climats si rudes. En hiver, alors que la neige recouvre les montagnes de Jigokudani, ils plongent avec délectation dans les sources thermales, créant un contraste saisissant entre la blancheur glaciale et la vapeur des onsen.
Cette expérience inédite attire chaque année des milliers de visiteurs fascinés par ces primates intelligents et joueurs.
Le parc de Jigokudani Yaen-koen, ouvert en 1964, a été spécialement aménagé pour offrir aux visiteurs l'opportunité d'observer ces singes de près. Les macaques y ont rapidement trouvé refuge, attirés par la chaleur des sources naturelles et la sécurité de cet environnement protégé. Les chercheurs ont découvert que ces bains ne sont pas seulement une question de confort thermique. Ils jouent également un rôle crucial dans la réduction du stress et la cohésion sociale des groupes de singes.
