Vores nabo, man kan gå mellem de to lejligheder via det udendørs køkken. Hun sidder altid og syer om aftenen. Det er meget hyggeligt at besøge dem. Kjolerne hun laver bliver solgt på markedet. Hun har også lavet en skjorte til mig.

Stephen Richer and David Constant entertain customers with protest songs against the Lansdowne Live project. Richer says he re-wrote lyrics to old protest songs from the civil rights movements in order to educate people on what is being planned for the area. The two men, along with their colleague Jeff Froggett, say they chose to sing at the market since it the main area threatened by the proposal. Richer says the market is one of the best things taking place in that space. “I will throw my body in front of a bus if they get rid of the Farmer’s Market,” he says.
This rock hammer was used to dip a bit of molten lava. The heat scorched the wooden handle before the lava cooled and hardened on the end of the metal pick.
These singers share a few traits with the drag queens in the parade - elaborate costumes and performance.

This guy was sitting in the audience. He was passed the microphone and requested to sing. He had a great voice and was also very charismatic and had everyone spellbound. He got right into the mood. Great act.

John McCormack was regarded as probably the greatest Mozartian of the 20th century. In 2006 the United States Library of Congress declared John McCormack's recording of 'Il mio tesoro' from Mozart's 'Don Giovanni' one of the greatest records of the 20th century. In recognition of this accolade, the library has now archived the recording for posterity.
