"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." (Leonardo da Vinci)

Simplicity 9806, not cut, sizes 4 to 8, cheerleader outfit available at www.buggsbooks.com

Simplicity 1803 - changed sleeves to shorter cap sleeves , overlocked (serged) the cap sleeve and then did bias binding for the rest of the armscye - just topstitched on the hem and lower armsyce. I wanted to avoid topstitching on the top of the sleeve.

I love the dark skirt with appliqué.

Weeds & Wilflowers "Celebrating Color- Brown and White"

I was actually wanting to get creative with eye makeup for this picture, and the beautiful Twiggy inspired me. The whole point of this picture was to actually have one thing stand out the most, so I kept it as simple as possible; even decided to give it no color. The makeup took me quite a long time, and working with my lower eyelashes was a real pain, but I guess all the hard work paid off in the end! I am very proud of the result!
