Back to the simple photos.

This one could have been improved by doing things such as upping the saturation to bring more colour but i thought it might take away the 'first thing in the morning' feeling that it has.

Comments Appreciated.

Thanks & Enjoy,

Steven

Good thing I didn't stuff that tail too firmly...

Dressy Bessy dolls help you learn to do stuff.. I had one but nowadays they would probably be banned because you could choke on a shoelace or zip your earlobe into the zipper or something.

A Reflection of Simplicity

At first glance this photo would seem too cluttered and colorful to be simple. But looking intently into the photo shows a simple object of focus and a darkness that surrounds it. The colorful lamp captures the focus of the photo and creates a simple theme of colors. Though, the background is not completely empty which would make the photo's simplicity questionable but in truth the reflection of color and light on the wall adds to the simplicity of it by adding similar patterns than of the lamp itself.

A Cynthia Rowley design for Simplicity. Sewn by me. More info on my blog. Adorable helper is Lincoln, who has to be right there in the mix!

Russ Miles and David Dawson came to Skills Matter and gave a one day workshop on how to inject simplicity in software. Working in teams, delegates created their code to navigate a real world AR drone (without crashing it!), learning how to break down a problem and tradeoff for the right values in Architecture, Design and Code. How to create the right number of tests to build the right level of confidence and how to enable Real Application Agility through Simplicity.
