Simplicity girls' pattern can be a shirt dress or a housecoat, c. 1950s.

I was on a photo walk and this plant was just blowing in the wind. I love the beauty of it- Simple. Free-flowing.

Russ Miles and David Dawson came to Skills Matter and gave a one day workshop on how to inject simplicity in software. Working in teams, delegates created their code to navigate a real world AR drone (without crashing it!), learning how to break down a problem and tradeoff for the right values in Architecture, Design and Code. How to create the right number of tests to build the right level of confidence and how to enable Real Application Agility through Simplicity.

I like simplicity, and this photo showcases that. The soft blues and browns in the background. The leading lines created by the barbed wire. The simple rule-of-thirds composition.

This actually includes a pattern for the shawl. Which is a big triangle. Yeah.

I kind of like the black floral one, though.
