Candid selective focus shot of a book held by a Washington, D.C. Metro rider

On a foggy summer morning, a line of Canada geese stands quietly along the water's edge. Their distinct black heads and necks stand out in the soft mist. The fog creates a serene, dreamlike atmosphere, blurring the landscape and enveloping the geese in a gentle, mysterious haze.

Thanks to my friend kabraloka_kbl for letting me use this cool tool. The lightbulb was weld from behind so the cable wasn't visible in the photo.

Life is really simple, but we insist

on making it complicated.

“As I have practiced it, photography produces pleasure by simplicity. I see something special and show it to the camera. A picture is produced. The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theirs.”

~ Sam Abell

From my solo trip to West Michigan over the July 4th weekend. I don't know, I just liked how simple and calm this shot is and the slight reflection that stretched across the water. Kind of a reflection on how I felt that weekend.

1 : the state of being simple, uncomplicated, or uncompounded

2 a : lack of subtlety or penetration : innocence, naiveté

b : folly, silliness

3 : freedom from pretense or guile : candor

I love the simplicity of this photo. It reminds me that we complicate things way too much in the so called "First World " .

Sometimes, in the simplest things, the most common is the true beauty of nature.

On many occasions, nature photographers seek the most shocking photo, or the most impressive place, but never forget that we are surrounded by simple and true beauty.

I hope you like it. Have a nice Weekend. :)

Simplicity is part of joy in life, but some never see it!

This photo is just a simple photograph at the beach. I like long exposures, so I blurred the water with a longer shutter speed. This is just a simple sunset, nothing special, but I really liked the way that this photo came out. I like the way the water looks with the blurred whitewash. Inspired by photo by Karl Taylor.

They say that simplicity is a virtue. Maybe. But it does look cool, too.

Simple to find supplies for your vices. One stop shopping.

Again, the stones on the roof that I liked so much. I went up there again just so I could take such photos again .. and to spend some time alone, in silence, letting the wind take everything away with it ..

Some of those expanding water ball thingies... Just thought they looked beautiful on their own; basically just plain old H2O - "Simplicity is Beauty" :-)
