just on an occasion of Saraswati puja, clicked a friend of mine..a simple expressive face, just thought of sharing with you all..
...I wish every thing else in my life was this beautiful and simple right now...I still have not done the homework for my photography class...not that I havent tried...I just havent succeded...I cannot believe that a one day class seems to come so quickly....I AM however almost done with Emilys announcements...I decided on a picture...no more waiting for better weather...I had to go with the best one that I had...I think we are happy...now the prom dress..the haircut...the BOY...the graduation....~sigh~
Here is a simple design for the new Data Portability logo (the name, in a dark type could and would, go over it). I liked the existing "infinity" D and P letters, in their original dark green colors (not the Fedora-like blue). I then gradient tiled 24 point circles. The simplistic design should have the nice benefit of surviving a lot of trademark issues (which is nice for any community project).
It not only works, but as you will note in another upload, the scaled versions (click "All Sizes" -> "Large" get the original 1024x320 spread) -- from 640x320 (A4/letter wide when printed at 72 dpi) down to 64x32 (desktop icon), the detail is still visible. At 32x16, which fits in most menu icons, the dots are no longer visible, but the logo still is (although some darkening is almost a must).
The original is an SVG done in Inkscape, which can be resized larger or made darker (as well as color inverted, etc...). I also have transparent 640x480 PNG rendered from the original SVG.
