50 on day 50 with 50mm --- I will upload them about 5 at a time to not overwhelm my photostream
On February 19th the 50th day of the year was upon us. Last year I read a blogpost about 50 photos on the 50th day of the year with a 50mm lens on iffles.com. Last year I was planning on doing this project and I ended up being sick for a week. This year I was ready and I got out there and shot away. Going for a simplistic look.
Alexander Henry's Bangle Dot for the outside, thrifted solid green cotton for the lining, were used to make this little girl's gift tote to open at the shower for her baby brother, due July 15.
I love the tote pattern--so versatile, easily goes together in one sitting.

I found this picture when I looked trough my pictures from Zambia and Botswana, and it's something with it that I like!
Do you like it?
Is it too simple, or is it art??
Please leav a comment! =)
1) I chose this photo because the leaf in the foreground is very detailed while at the same time, the background is simple.
2) My camera shows an aperture of f/2.2 and a shutter speed of 1/3968.
3) For editing I added a little bit of saturation, I also used the edge sharpen and edge define. I used these because it made the photo more interesting and vibrant.
4) When I took this photo I had a little bit of trouble with the sun shining right into the lens of my phone. I had to adjust the angle of my phone and where the focus was. I also had to lay on the ground so I got the sky in thew background.

* Simple * White * Rose * ~ Not very original I know but I just thought this rose was so perfec tthat I had to photograph it. I'm sure I'll have similar shots in my photostream but the more the merrier!!
Scenic day trips, furry friends, icy cold craft brews and flowers from your sweetie. These are the simple things a good weekend is made of.
I usually prefer the really vividly colored lilies. However so many of them have been blooming that this one is like a refreshing gulp of milk after a plate of rich brownies.
It looks like it belongs in a victorian painting.
