We had a day out at Drayton Manor theme park today. I love that amongst the rides they have a little zoo with a selection of animals to look at.
A few years ago my husband adopted a meerkat for me as a present so whenever we visit Drayton Manor I always pay them a visit.
I have no idea if this is my adoptee, Aja but he/she was willing to pose for a pretty decent picture so maybe it was.
The Simple Chef®, Chef DonClark PopUp at Cholo's Record Shop on 511 East 148th St., The Bronx surprised the locals who were happy to see the Emmy Award Winning WNBC Reporter turned Product Designer: Tostobueno, The Ultimate Tostonera® turned Chef whip up a storm of plantain yummy-ness in their own backyard.
Nine year old Samuel had seconds . . . or maybe even thirds of a toston cup topped with “just whipped cream, please.” His mom who reminded us that in her native Colombia the plantains, fried are called PATACONES, was at a loss for words as her taste buds were introduced to the ying/yang of the salty plantain platform topped with cherries and whipped cream.
“DELICIOSO” was all she kept repeating, “DELICIOSO!”
He also treated them to plantain cups stuffed with pernil. He made fans of all those who stopped by. If anyone in The Bronx would like their very own plantain smasher stop by Cholo's Record Shop. I did another frilly thing before that I got from a tutorial and so I decided to my own original frilly thingy that was more original... but still simple... I like simple sometimes :-)

My old boss and still Uncle (mikey) has been working in a new style. These simple "bent" looking pieces with no visable hardware and free edges beveling are pretty amazing.
If people find your business hard to understand, paint them a simpler picture. As Simpler-Webb showed us how they work, we saw that a sincere passion for problem solving needed to come through loud and clear on their site.
With a well-used whiteboard as a background, we developed a playful aesthetic to underscore that message. Hand-drawn elements emphasize the human touch behind Simpler-Webb solutions. Bonus: The drawings simplify the technical stuff.
Paths for learning about products and services come to life in a clear yet clever voice. A content management system (CMS) allows the client to refresh the site at will.

Quite an experiment with dark red filter , very high ISO and exposure blending for some. Interesting "oldfashioned" mood, I think.
