This card came together quickly using the November @simonsaysstamp card kit. I almost felt sorry cutting into the pretty papers especially the embossed floral, which has to be the prettiest ever included in a kit. All products from the kit except the copper washi tape from @queenandcompany. I'm entering this card in Simon's Monday and Flickr challenges.

Using copic sketch markers to color the Narwhale Friends stamp as the feature and the Polka Dot Party 6x6 stencil (ssst121437) for the background with some glitz glitter gel on it. 🐳

My son is 15 and just learning to drive, so before we turn him loose on the roads, I thought a little practice on a smaller scale was in order. He couldn't have agreed more and had a blast driving Go-carts.

This layout is based on Scrap Our Stash's fabulous sketch. I changed the sketch up a little by using large handmade gears instead of triangles to fit my theme. The "Play Hard" quote is from Simon Says Stamp's All Boy set which is heat embossed with white powder. I rounded things out with Tim Holtz (Sizzix) gear diecuts. And painted the Creative Embellishment's tire with black ink and a silver pen. For more details head to my blog: Superstickchick.blogspot.com.

Simon Says Stamp Flickr group challenge is Flowers or Mother's Day. My card is uses one SSS set "Flower Friend". I used SSS Fog card for the stamping. The ink is Memento Blue Danube. It's hard to see but there is lots of Wink of Stella and gems.

The die is Dahlia Frame die from @simonsaysstamp. The background is made by using a stencil and translucent paste mixed with pink glitter on a pink cardstock. The background have been laying in my "background stash" for a long time! I'm trying to empty it, but I always seems to add to it... 😄

I made this card by watercolouring with distress inks for the background. I then used my cute Paper Smooches balloon dies along with some Simon Says Stamp mini hearts. The black enamel dots are also from SSS. I am really happy with the result!

Finally got around to playing with @simonsaysstamp May card kit. I used alcohol inks to create two panels, one in tones of green and the other multicolored, then stamped the leaves and flower and cut them out. For the background I used an oldie but goodie embossing folder from @sizzix. The sentiment is also from the kit. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr challenge. Have a good evening!

Just playing around with these dies. Tried watercolor on this patterned paper with my Derwent pencils. Not sure if I like it or not?!
