Here I stamped all the leafs with Distress Inks, each leaf is stamped twice with fall colors. I actually like how blotchy the leafs look with regular Distress Inks, fall leafs do get distressed 😄 Products from @simonsaysstamp ☺️

This card and video came about after messaging with my sister the other day. She asked if I was going to do a tartan heart card for Valentine's and that sparked this card! I know Valentine's has been and gone but I chose a sentiment that could be used all year round, anniversary anyone? I kept the card clean and simple and used minimal supplies, so this is a card you can knock up at any time!

My Mom asked for some thank you cards so these are what I whipped up for her. As I was making them, I realized just how easy it would be to make one a shaker card so that's what I did! And I'm so glad because that one's my fav!!

I used the Heart of Roses die as the main focal point for this card. I cut a larger heart out of vellum and then used my Copics to create the stained glass effect behind the die.

I've been meaning to try Distress Oxide inks on kraft cardstock, and I love the results. They stamp solid and bright. I diluted the same colors with a bit of water and splattered a few drops on the corner squares. I don't think the photo captures it too well, but I love the marble-y effect the ink gets when heat embossed (on the sentiment). The stamp set is You+Me from the SSS August 2017 kit. I'm entering this card on the SSS Flickr challenge.

Been quite a while since I played with Ranger alcohol inks.. I think I got more on my hands than I did on the Yupo paper😂😂 Still need to get some of the gorgeous new colors.

Aside from card making, I love to use my scraps to make tags and other keepsakes. For these tags, I used the clipped heart die, the tiny spaced hearts stencil and the blossom field 3D folder - all from #simonsaysstamp

So glad to hear that Simon's Flickr challenge has "joined" #thedailymarker30day. Gave me an excuse to color this beautiful stamp once again (hope you're not tired of it). I was inspired by @starofmay to use Polychromos pencils on gray cardstock. I also challenged myself to use pink colors (not my favorite), and to make it a one-layer card, but I loved how it turned out.

I made this bright card using Simon Says Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Dies & You're So Sweet stamp set with Zig Real Brush Clean Color Markers.

I embellished with Pretty Pink Posh sequins in Cornflower (6 mm, flat), Orchid (6mm, flat), Sparkling Clear & Tangerine (both 4 mm, cupped) and I also tied some Doodlebug Tangerine twine around the card.
