Simon Says Stamp in tribute to April the giraffe's new baby

Made this card for the Online Card Class day 10: " One stamp, Six Ways".

I used a stampset by Simon Says Stamp for this card. I got it as a win on the blog of Sarah Moerman!

So, when I saw this class, I thought of this stampset to make cards with. Hope I can make some more cards with it! :)

This is a card made for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #2. I chose the horizontal row in the bottom, polka dots, flowers and glitter. The background is an embossing folder from Cuttlebug and the flowers comes from a Simon Says Stamp stamp set, Best Mom ever. I also used a glitter embossing powder for the panel behind the text. The text says Congratulations in Swedish and I used letter stickers from Kelly Purkey. I colored the flowers and leaves with Distress markers and Distress ink for the background.

I'm building my collection of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks at the moment and so was delighted to see that the new April Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp included two of the new Distress Oxide colours. I used these inks to watercolour a bright and happy spring card and then embellished with Nuvo droplets.

Playing along with challenge at Calling All Sistahs. There's a great inspiration photo/colour and it's all about encouragement card.

I've used a Simon Says Stamp background card, white embossed, and then sponged with Altenew inks. I used Liquid Platinum powder to emboss the Kaisercraft sentiment onto vellum and used a Simon Says Stamp stitched die to cut ii out. Added some gold thread behind it...
