I made this card using a stencil from clear scraps and the background is inked suing distress inks. The whole background is covered using vellum, hence the subtle effect of all that distressing. The sentiment is from the "You" stamp set and I used the coordinating "You" die set. I have also used the mini hearts die. All the dies and stamps are from Simon Says Stamp.

Entering this card in the ongoing flickr challenge using complimentary colours from the colour wheel.

Another card for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge - 'thankful'. I used the SSS Painted thanks die plus a Sizzix folder and a couple of distress inks for this card and followed a technique shared by Jennifer Mcguire a few years ago.

I used distress inks on watercolor paper, and put the candy cane stencil on top and sprayed with water, and dapped it off. I used the die cut from the first card, and die cut 5 more and glued all down. This card is also for SSSflickrchallenge#7

In today’s video, I look at using small stamps to create a watercoloured wreath. You can pretty much choose any stamp to use in a wreath; circles, snowflakes, holiday icons, but of course there is the traditional leaves and flowers route I used with this card.

I haven't done pencil coloring on kraft in a while. The flowers are from @simonsaysstamp May card kit, and the trellis die is an older one from @annagriffininc. The flowers are foam taped over each other for a bit of dimension. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr challenge.

Simon Says Stamp and Altenew LLC using techniques learned from Jennifer McGuire

I used the stylised heart die from #simonsaysstamp along with various other dies from spellbinders and a stamp from altenew.

I gold embossed SSS Kaleidoscope BG & did some coloring with a very small brush & Liquid Pearls Ocean Blue & Mint Green adding just a bit of water. The metallic sheen is beautiful in person. The sentiment from SSS Thoughtful Messages was also gold embossed on the window frame cut with a square die. Thanks for looking!

The challenge over at Crafting when we can is to use Lemon and Lime. I had started this card last weekend and then lost it... found it in a paper pad today and finished it off. Background is by Hero Arts. The die cut is from Memory Box, coloured with Copics. The banner die is Simon Says Stamp with a matching sentiment stamp.

Made another card for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge found HERE. This lacey stencil really shines with the Faber-Castell Texture Luxe embossing paste covered with SSS Unicorn Dust glitter. Hard to see all the glitteriness in the picture, but it is very sparkley in real life.

I totally copied this beautiful card made by Nina Trapani. Her card is absolutely gorgeous and I thought I have stamps that will work in that design. I did change it just a bit as I did not make a one layer card, but attached the piece with the butterflies in behind the cut border.
