With Class 47 D1501 piloting the Santa Special back down to Bury 13065 was just ticking over to keep everything oiled before it would do the work on the third on its four trips to Rawtenstrall and back. And if I got a move on I might just catch the Crab at Burrs on that trip.

13 Years old Simmers won the gold medal. She gain the highest scores at the entire Huntington Beach tournament.
USA Coach Team Joey Buran said, Simmers’ surfing was both “amazing and historic.”
I am sorry that I have not been around for over a week or so. Things have gotten a bit
heated up in some areas of my life. I hope to come back to you all just as soon as I can. Don't give up on me...things are already starting to cool off.

Viewed from the coal-loading tower at Wolsztyn shed, Ol49-69 simmers away between duties as the snow gently falls during the evening of 4th December 2017. A partly snow covered TKt48-143 stands outside the shed office.

The four gas tanks of Simmering gasworks were built in 1896. After its closure in 1984, they were finally reconstructed from 1999 to 2001 and now house among other residential buildings, a shopping center and an entertainment venue.

At 7:30am on Memorial Day, the 611 waits quietly for the excursion to begin. It's been rather awkwardly situated underneath a pedestrian overpass, but a nearby parking garage offered a nice vantage point for a going-away shot.
