Kwik Save Supermarket in Skegness has been closed just over 10 years but the old sign still remains today on Old Wainfleet Road.
Los Angeles' most iconic landmark, a simple sign on the top of a hill. Originally advertising a development called "Hollywoodland", the sign fell into disrepair, before a campaign led by Hugh Hefner himself restored the sign to its now iconic status over the Los Angeles hills. This view is taken from the Hollywood Bowl Lookout on the famous Mulholland Drive.

In Florence, Italy on the posh(er) side of the river is an artist who does this sort of thing to road signs, I love 'em! Anyway I think this is a great way of advertising a bumpy road.
