Alaska Guardsmen Spc. Tahdg Nakada, a signal support specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 207th Aviation Regiment, and Pfc. Travis Cooper, a construction equipment mechanic with the 207th Engineer Utility Detachment, train at approximately 4,500 feet elevation in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, in Canmore, Alberta, Nov. 21-Dec. 2, 2016. The Guardsmen put in 15 to 20 hours per week of cardio including skate and classic skiing and running. Additionally, they incorporated strength training and shooting into their training regimen. Nakada, 22, of Anchorage, and Cooper, 20, of Kenai, train year-round and compete on the National Guard Biathlon development team. Biathlon is a winter sport that combines skiing and precision marksmanship in both the prone and standing positions. The Guardsmen kicked off the biathlon season with their first competition, the North American #1 and Calforex #1 Biathlon Cups, at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park, Dec. 3-4, 2016. This old PRR signal tower sits on the Northwest end of the Pavonia Yard in Camden, NJ. There is another signal tower on the same side about 1/2 mile further into the yard. Not sure what type of signal tower this is or how it was used. I hope Lampy can shed some light on this. At this section of the yard the tracks are leading to the main lines north of the city. Pavonia Yard use to be avery busy yard in its day. It is only a mere shadow of what it use to be.

Taken at the Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry. I remember Signal Gas from growing up in Southern California.
