New construction (luxury condos?) where once stood "Le Signal de Chexbres" hotel overlooking the Lavaux vineyards and lake Leman in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
Faversham station under going re-signalling with the erection of a new signal gantry.
The work is part of the proposed multi-million pound East Kent Resignalling Project.
The advance work, involving cable diversions and earth works, are all part of a plan which ultimately could see the end of existing mechanical signalling equipment dating back to the 1950s. The equipment, which includes mechanically operated signalboxes, would be replaced with a modern computerised system, controlled from a signalling centre at Gillingham.
Faversham is significant as it sits at a junction that splits into two routes, one of which will be used by the new Class 395 Hitachi-built trains.
In one direction the line from London via Rochester continues on the north Kent route to Ramsgate and Margate, whilst the other line leads to Dover Priory via Canterbury East – an area where there are still clusters of semaphore signals.
Shrub Hill starter signal SH7 is seen back in 2007. The Arm has been lowered due to sighting issues with the canopy and is now where the Distant arm use to be before it's removal back in the late 60's.

A new Dorman LED signal for the line to allow for a higher capacity of trains. This signal sits between DC5 (Down Caerphilly) just outside the south portal of Caerphilly tunnel and HJ10R at the end of Llanishen station. These signals are now renumbered with the Cardiff prefix since closure of Bargoed,Heath Jn and Ystrad Mynach signal boxes at midnight on the 06.09.2013. The white panel with a black line indicates that this is an automatic signal, this signal came into use at 5:40am on the 09.09.2013. Taken on the 14.09.2013
Just an idea I had after i saw some people on youtube talking about an Aaliyah album with unreleased songs. They were talking about naming it Signal Found: Aaliyah or Aaliyah: Signal Found whichever one lol so i decided to see how it would come out if there was a cover for it!! So here is my take on it :))

Situated at the end of the Down Platform at Banbury was this wonderful GW Lower Quadrant Semaphore Signal with Ball and Spike Finial.

This bus signal is from the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority - better known as LYNX by locals. These buses are usually random solid colors including red, purple, blue, pink, etc. and the rest are wrapped in advertising.
LYNX operates a fleet of 290 buses on 65 routes, called Links, and has service every day of the year.

The 1873 L&SW platform mounted signal box at Bow in Devon, seen shortly after closure in January 1964. It contained a Stevens & Sons 12 lever Tappet frame. Note that the timber upper structure has been replaced by brickwork from the stone base to cill level.
Ainderby Signal Box and crossing seen here on a dull day in August 1983. The box contained a 20 lever McKenzie & Holland lever frame, many of which were spare by this date.

Weaverthorpe Signal Box was built in 1873 and is a rather odd looking building. It is located 4 or 5 miles from Weaverthorpe itself and is located on the York - Scarborough line between Malton and Seamer. The gates also seen in the photo are still worked by a wheel mechanism located inside the box. It has a frame of 16 levers dating from 1933 and the box is now a listed structure.

This signal arm is genuine, but the rest - post, control rods and all - are a purely a decorative construct. The "signal" stands on the National Cycle Route 647 close to Fledborough Railway viaduct in Nottinghamshire. The cycle path follows the track bed of the former railway line across the River Trent at Fledborough (closed in the early 1980s), hence the signal.
