DO NOT PARK HERE

The wrath of the ancients will fall upon your head, your shoelaces will not stay tied.

Rabid squirrels will invade your home.

Food in your refrigerator will mysteriously spoil.

Your vehicle will start making that expensive knocking sound again and

No one will talk to you at parties

You will also seriously piss off the bitch who pays good money for this garage.

And nobody wants that.

This Biloxi Mississippi McDonalds was built in 1962. The original "Spedee" single arch sign survived Hurricane Camille in 1969 but the original building did not. In 2005, the vintage sign was severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina and the owners tore it down. This is as it appeared in 1998.

A random fire exit sign I saw in Whitehorse at a walmart that I just thougt was funny... love the descriptive warning signs.

In case of fire, panic and run for an exit.

Missy left me this note upon learning that I'd been accepted to grad school. We also had celebratory pastries from Patisserie 46. (I think they were as much for her benefit as mine.)

This restored Coca-Cola sign caught my eye in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. I don't know the history of the sign or building, but the fragments make for an intriguing image.

These painted signs were recently exposed after the demolition of an old building in Downtown El Paso. The John T. Muir Building was built by Trost and Trost architects in 1916. It was originally a beautiful building but had been remodeled at some point. Our City council voted to demolish it because: "It is not on the historic register, It's a non-contributing historic building and it has been irreparably altered." Sad - but cool that these signs were exposed!
