A sign post near the first of the peaks on Bennachie (pronounced Benna-Hee), Mither Tap points to its winter snow covered summit. Bennachie has 3 main small peaks; Mither Tap, Oxen Craig (the highest) and Little Oxen Craig. We'll be doing all 3 and this is the first.
“Where there are bees there are flowers, and wherever there are flowers there is new life and hope.”
― Christy Lefteri (The Beekeeper of Aleppo )
When I have errands to do on Saturdays, I often take a diversion / stroll through the city park (I have an annual ticket for the park) to wind down a bit. This time I was able to enjoy the first signs of spring and glorious sunshine. I stayed much longer than planned - watching the few adventurous bees buzzing about : ))

Spring in the garden is a mixture of delight and chore! Chore in that the feeds wake and spread like fury. Delight as creation wakes and all manner of bugs, birds and buds are to be seen and admired. I trimmed the climbing rose back over the weekend, it would be wrong not to take a photo ( or 20 right?!). Thanks for stopping
The sign itself appears to be a bit of an antique. I like the dead ivy that once grew on the wall around it. This photograph is in living color.
While on a photo-walk of the Cornell campus with Simon and Stacey we spotted these fuzzies glowing in the sun. Nevermind that I had to stand on 12" of snow to get this shot... It was a nice sign that life will in fact return to Central New York....I was starting to doubt it.
I've been quite busy these past few weeks but I hope to get back in the groove next week. I have a mountain of flickring to catch up on! Hope everyone is doing well!
