With the Memoiral Gardens out of bounds due to flood defence work, vehicles are laying over in Toft Green an are used 40+ years ago for layover of local buses. Here we see shuttle buses waiting for the call to move round to Station Rise and then the Statiion to take punters upto the racecourse.

Belated upload of some of the many coaches used as shuttle vehicles at the 2015 Offshore Europe Event at the AECC. This year while First Aberdeen still featured, it no longer dominated a coach operates across the country as well as Aberdeenshire were used.

A large scale shuttle bus operation was put in place for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2026 at Herrington Country Park, Sunderland, with official travel partner Big Green Coach drafting in operators from across the North East and beyond to move thousands of festivalgoers across the weekend.
Shuttle services operated continuously between Heworth Metro Station, Park Lane Interchange and Durham Belmont Park & Ride to the event site from early morning until late evening.
The operation consisted of approximately:
• 30 vehicles from Go North East
• 25 vehicles from JH Coaches
• 15 vehicles from DM Motor Services
• 5 vehicles from Northstar
• 5 vehicles from City Transport / A&A Coach Travel
• 2 vehicles from Stanley Travel
• 2 vehicles from Shaws of Durham

I haven't posted for a while but that doesn't mean to say I haven't been out snapping away!
First day out with a second hand Fuji S200EXR which I picked up as a back up for days when I don't want to lugg a DSLR + lens around.
I've used Fuji's for years and they have always given me excellent image quality and the S200EXR impessed me, although it is no match for a DSLR handling wise.

Am 7. September 2014 war der ATB mit seinen historischen Bussen als Verstärkerbussen auf den Omnibuslinien „M45“ (zum „Tag der offenen Tür“ der Polizeidirektion 2) und „134“ (zum Flugplatzfest des Militärhistorischen Museums der Bundeswehr) als Autobuslinien „54 E“ bzw. „34 E“ geschildert unterwegs und hatte zusätzlich den Shuttleverkehr vom DTMB zur Depothalle des DTMB zu erbringen. Auf der letzten Linie war diesmal „Hugo“ des DVN im Einsatz.
