I shot this with a fast shutter speed of 800. I increased the ISO, but the dull morning and fast shutter speed decreased the light.

Is the picture sideways or is it just parkour expert, Jake Fenlon defying gravity?

Shutter speed:15 ISO:200. The lines become less defined and the image seems to have more of a glare

Shutter speed is tested.

F: Focus is on Michelle's face and on her trumpet.

A: I was actually taking this from the stands, and she was on the field.

C: Color, texture, rule of thirds

I: I like this because of the action. You can tell she is moving because the grass is blurred and her position looks like its moving, but her face and arms are still in focus.

T: The areas that are blurred are intentional and add to the feeling of movement. I used Photoshop to remove the legs of the people around her, as well as a little bit of cropping.

This is my cousin Michelle as she is practicing for her performance with the UNI marching band at the football game.

This photo was taken outside with the purpose of investigating the influence of shutter speed on taking photos of fast moving objects. This photo uses a shutter speed of 1/50, which clearly results in the blurred effect of the moving car.
