taking a break from a session, i wanted to get sandwiches and tristen wanted to take pictures, probably of like butterflies or flowers or some shit, so i was trying to set the shutter speed and iso and "stuff" (that's tech talk, don't worry about it) and snapped these two, that i like a bunch. you may notice the camera strap around her neck.

Where the picture was taken- On a road in Missouri
With this picture it's basically of nature and there isn't really a center of interest or a subject. I don't feel that the background is distracting at all. I think that there is a feeling of movement because you can see towards the bottom of the picture where the grass is at it's all blurred out while the upper half of the picture is clear and in focus. I think this picture is properly exposed. I don't really think that I used the rule of thirds very well with this picture.
I think this picture is a best representation of symmetrical balance because in the picture if you look on the left or the right it will be the same and also if you did like use a mirroring effect it would be the same.
On the opposite end of shutter speed, by slowing it down it can create a time lapse to capture movement and flow. By slowing the shutter speed more light is brought into the lens, brightening the image. If not balanced correctly the issue of over exposure can arise. This has been a key element for me to learn in my future goal of being able to do astrophotography.
